Firmly in the middle of DUST’s second year, another series of deliverables has been released! The first of the series, Deliverable 2.3 (D2.3), assesses stakeholder engagement in the development and implementation of place-based just sustainability transition policies in industrial EU regions. The Actor-Process-Event Scheme (APES) is used within a comprehensive multi-case study analysis combining quantitative and qualitative DUST research that focuses on examining participatory and deliberative processes in key policy initiatives and assessing the depth and quality of participation. APES plays an important role in tracking and mapping stakeholder engagement over time, providing detailed insights into the participation dynamics within sustainability policies.
